This was a good category this year hence why it took as long too judge these 16 entries. “Not Your Kids League” was a easy choice to make as the winner. The cutting in this story was crisp and to the point. There was not one effect in this story just a simple and to the point editing. I think you’ll see that once you’ve watch the other winning entries. “They Call Me Hammer” was a strong edit but not as crisp as “Not Your Kids League”. “A Hill To Climb On” was nicely shot and edited together. The editor brought all the elements together and produced a well rounded story. “Havoc Fanatics” was good but not as good as “A Hill To Climb On. Seeing” these vast array of sports entries proved a point that straight forward editing is the way too go.”

Not Your Kids League... Our first place selection. Funny. Good use of nats and sound. I felt I was in the game. Thought cutting between the office and the field was well done. Good clean cuts.

They Call Me Hammer... 2nd place. A nice story. Simply done, and not overedited. Good job of letting the story tell itself without a lot of unnecessary cuts.

A Hill to Climb... 3rd place. Good sequencing that really moved the piece along. Great job on the audio. A good pace that didn’t drag. Entertaining package.

Havoc Fanatics... Honorable mention. Good nat sound and music integration. The package really moved, and was fun to watch.
