Quinceanero - The Quinceanero is a Hispanic tradition to celebrate a girl's 15th birthday and the time when she changes from being a girl to being a woman. The elaborate celebration closely resembles an American wedding. Sisters Lucia and Lisette decided to celebrate theirs at the same time to ease the financial burden for their single mother. Lucia Melendez, 16, left, and sister Lisette, 15, work to pull on their pantyhose as they rush to get ready in their Newport News home for their Quinceanero celebration less than two hours away.
