Wonderfully appropriate way of photographing the Hiroshima survivors that combines a nostalgic and Japanese feeling. “Life After Death” is a disturbing set of portraits from Hiroshima’s scarred survivors who stare straightforward and unflinching into the camera.
Compelling portraits of these survivors, together with the brief text blocks they provide a wonderful alternative to a full-text story form. Much more compelling this way.
