Summary- One of the few places the four boxing Hernandez brothers are allowed to run free is in the ring. Due to gang violence in their neighborhood, Jose, Carlos, Willie and Fredy Hernandez' parents do not allow their boys to play outside their Chicago home. Instead their pent-up energy is saved for the gym and for their yearly trip to their mother's home in Puerto Rico, where they are allowed to live the carefree life that they can only dream about back in the United States. Caption- Young boxer Willie Hernandez looks down onto North Avenue from the front window of his family's Humboldt Park neighborhood apartment in Chicago. Due to gang violence Hernandez and his three brothers are not allowed by their parents to play outside their residence.
