Minnesota Zoo Conservation Director Ron Tilson is pictured with a 420 pound, 3 1/2 year-old male Amur tiger named Vaska at the Zoo. Vaska eats about 13 pounds of food a day, a special diet comprised of a horse meat base with supplemental vitimans and minerals. Tilson does conservation work to help preserve endangered tiger species. Vaska is behind a protective glass barrier at the Zoo.
