"TRI-UMPH" Rachel Myers (R, 24 years old) trains with her mother, Diane (49 years old) who has only been swimming since July. Both athletes participated in only their second triathlon ever, the Columbia Triathlon May 17, in Columbia, Md. Rachel finished 244th out of 289 women (974th overall) with a time of 3:53:49. Mom clocked in at 254th with a time of 4:04:55 (999th overall). There were 1,058 entrants.
