- A Place for Music

Marshall Bronaugh, 66, plays piano at his church, Walls Memorial C.M.E., 200 S. Sacremento, Chicago on Sundays. The retired postal worker took piano lessons from a neighborhood man and his wife when he was a young boy, and later attended the Chicago Musical College, which is now part of Roosevelt University. Speaking of his piano playing, he says, "I can't play jazz. I can't run all over the keyboard! I don't practice enough." For now, he practices music for his church, and on this day, he was 'boning' up on Christmas songs. (FIRST PUBLISHED 1-14-2001)
