Brick by Brick - A brickmaker at the Ghafar brick factory, on the outskirts of Peshawar, Pakistan, stacks bricks against the backdrop of the factory's kiln. The kiln is fired by burning old car tires and belches a thick black smoke. About 150 Afghan refugees work 12-hour-days at the factory for the the equivalent of U.S. $1.50 per day.
