An American SFOR soldier patrols an area near the Bosnian town of Kula Grad overlooking the Republika of Srpska border. Though the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement brought the three-and-a-half-year Bosnian war to an end, the heavy presence of the NATO Stabilization force five-years on has kept ethnic violence from destroying the fragile peace. It is a sad fact of life in Bosnia-Herzegovina that many people still face hostilities from their neighbors as they try to rebuild their lives.
