Bobby Richardson helps his mother May back to bed after her daily walk. When May was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer the family knew her illness was a result of her work at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant where she was exposed to nuclear weapons. Bobby promised his mother he would fight to make the government admit to causing her illness. May did not live to see this promise kept, but Bobby still hopes he can fulfill it.
